Building or remodeling a home is a significant investment and can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, structured process to minimize stress, eliminate confusion, and keep your project moving forward with confidence and clarity. One of our favorite quotes is: “Success is not a destination, it’s a journey.”
Initial Meeting
Laying the Foundation
The focus of this initial meeting is to fully understand your vision. This includes your goals, timeline, ideal budget, and desired outcomes. It’s the point where we lay the foundation of our relationship.
Development Phase
Assembling the Right Team
Once the project’s direction is clear, the optimal team is selected. This involves deploying either our in-house design capabilities or engaging architects, engineers, and designers from our trusted network. Working collaboratively with a preliminary budget based on market trends and previous experience, the initial designs are put on paper and tweaked until all parties are confident in the plan and happy!
Planning & Pre-Construction
Setting the Path Forward
A preliminary budget, a general schedule with milestones, and a clear roadmap is developed during this phase. Value engineering options (a fancy term for where we can save money!) are explored to optimize costs without sacrificing quality. In other words, we want plan for options A, B, and C.
Construction
Bringing Your Vision to Life
Once construction begins, your project manager and team will provide hands-on oversight, managing and monitoring the job’s progress. Weekly meetings are scheduled to keep you fully informed. Together, we’ll review progress, explore cost optimization, and ensure transparent communication. Unknowns (yes, they will happen!) are met with proactive problem-solving to find solutions in your best interest.
Project Closeout & Follow-Up
Long-Term Satisfaction
After your project is completed, we walk through the final punch list together, ensuring that all finishing touches meet expectations. Afterwards, we’ll check in to make sure you’re happy with the results.
